Terms of Service

VanLogIQ is a web-based application designed to help independent couriers and owner-operators:

• Track loads from award to payment
• Capture and store proof of delivery (POD) media
• Manage expenses and calculate net profit
• Track payment status and manage unpaid loads
• Generate financial reports and analytics

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials or from unauthorized access to your account.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Free Tier

• 5 loads per month
• 30-day POD retention
• Manual expense entry
• Basic dashboard metrics

Pro Tier

• Unlimited loads
• Permanent POD retention
• OCR receipt scanner
• Auto-generated invoices
• Full analytics dashboard
• Cloud integration

Payment Terms

• Pro tier subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
• Payments are processed through Stripe
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice
• If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to Free tier

Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain Pro features until the end of the billing period, after which your account will be downgraded to Free tier.

Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload to VanLogIQ, including:

• Load information and tracking data
• POD media (photos, signatures)
• Expense records
• Financial information

License to Use

By uploading content to VanLogIQ, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account or remove the content.

Data Retention

• Free Tier: POD media is automatically deleted after 30 days
• Pro Tier: Data is retained permanently unless you delete it
• Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, post, or transmit any content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains viruses or malicious code
• Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive
• Violates privacy rights of others

You agree to use VanLogIQ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate any person or entity

Violations

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund, and may subject you to legal action.

Service Ownership

VanLogIQ, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by VanLogIQ and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

Trademarks

"VanLogIQ" is a trademark of VanLogiq. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written consent.

Service "As Is"

VanLogIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VanLogiq shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Errors or inaccuracies in data or calculations
• Loss or corruption of data (though we maintain backups)

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

No Professional Advice

VanLogIQ provides tools for tracking loads and expenses, but does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult with appropriate professionals for advice specific to your situation.

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Settings page. Upon termination, your access to the Service will immediately cease, and your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and data, subject to our data retention policy and applicable law. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
